Adopt-a-Class Sponsors - $250

Individuals generous enough to donate $250 or more qualify to participate in the Crescendo “Adopt-a-Class” program, one of the Academy’s most important offerings.  Through this program, donors help to sponsor a full year of Crescendo music classes and materials for a group of little children facing the big challenges of disability and economic disadvantage.  The children will enjoy weekly classes proven to help them grow in their most important abilities, take-home CDs and activity booklets, and the chance to perform onstage in our annual Celebrate the Children! concert.  Sponsors receive priority seating at this very special event, and are invited to visit their ‘adopted’ class to see the Crescendo program in action.

Adopt-a-Center Sponsors – $2,500

With a generous donation of $2,500 or more, individuals qualify to participate in the “Adopt-a-Center” program.  Through this program, donors help to sponsor Community Music Services centers that provide the gift of music to people of all ages challenged by disability and disadvantage.  Your donation, unless otherwise specified, could play a pivotal role in allowing the Academy to increase the size and capacity of our award-winning Crescendo program.  Pre-kindergarten Head Start Centers have repeatedly asked for the expansion of this program throughout the School District of Philadelphia, but a lack of funding has limited our ability to do so.  Currently, 3,000 children leave School District of Philadelphia Head Start Centers each year without receiving the documented benefits that the Crescendo program provides.  Your donation of $2,500 would enable the Academy to provide Crescendo to a center serving from 40 to 80 Head Start children and families.

Presenting “Celebrate the Children!” Sponsors – $25,000

At the end of each school year, hundreds of young Crescendo children have the opportunity to shine onstage in the Academy’s annual Celebrate the Children! concert at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.  Individuals or organizations that generously donate $25,000 or more qualify as Presenting Sponsors of this inspiring celebration.  This spring’s concert will be the premier event of the 25th Anniversary of our Crescendo program and will take place on May 25, 2010.  As our Presenting Sponsor, you will receive signage at all Anniversary events and all preview and media gatherings, year-round recognition in all Academy materials and special recognition in our Crescendo Anniversary Program Book (e.g., full page ad on inside or back cover), 25 preferred seating tickets to Celebrate the Children! and full sponsorship of the Crescendo center of your choice.
