For the past 12 years, the Academy has collected over 11,500 evaluations from Crescendo parents and classroom teachers. Below, please find the overwhelmingly positive results from these evaluations and see for yourself the wonderful benefits of our Crescendo Music Program from those closest to and most affected by this remarkable program.

Crescendo Parents

*  Over 97% of parent respondents stated that Crescendo helped their child in all areas of overall development, language development, self-esteem and attention span.

One mother noticed that her daughter’s “reading has improved 100% and she interacts with others more.  Her speech is much better as well.”

*  Crescendo helped more than 96% of parents enjoy the times they spend with their child, and  assisted them in finding new ways to both help and understand their child.

Classroom Teachers

*  Teachers responded that our music program helped more than 96% of children improve in their overall development, communication skills, socialization skills and self-esteem.

A teacher said of a student diagnosed with ADHD, “Music is the only activity that keeps her focused.”

*  For 95% of the children, Crescendo helped teachers learn more about their children’s abilities and helped them find more ways to help their children grow in their abilities.

One Head Start classroom teacher said, “I have been an Early Childhood Teacher for almost 30 years and have never been so delighted by a program offered to my class.”
